Another great days sailing from the Golf Course Car Park, Borth. It was also a very busy day with up to 15 people on the water at one point. SW winds to start with that veered Westerly throughout the afternoon and most people out on 5.5-6m sails. There was a pretty big swell running too after the strong winds overnight so everyone had a fantastic time getting some big air on the way ou and then wave-riding on the way in. The winds were a little gusty, but the waves were good and the sun was shining most of the time. The people present included Steve, Joe, Steve(bus), Richard, Ben, Chris and a group of the guys that sail at Draycote. Derek went out towards the end of the afternoon with his kite too.

It was also a good day for trashings in the waves and everyone took a few rinsings in the whitewater. Ben managed to completely wreck his rig and ended up ditching his sail and mast out at sea and swimming back with his board boom and fittings. One of the Draycote guys also destroyed a sail. All in all a good day at the office!
